The second part is called “Derbend Seferi” and talks about Koroglu journey to Derbend where he meets and marries Arab-pasha’s daughter Momine Khanim. After the wedding Momine Khanim refuses to leave her lonely dad. Koroglu gives her a bracelet and makes a request: “If you have a daughter sell it. If we have a son, wear it on this arm and send him to find his father”. With this request Koroglu departs. Momine bares a son and names him Hasan (Kurd-oglu which in Turkish mean “The son of a Kurd”). Kurd-oglu grows up and leaves to find his father. After a long search, he finally finds him. His father, Koroglu does not recognize him. A fight greaks out. Two times Kurd-oglu defeats his father. The third time Koroglu is victorious with an intend to kill Kurd-oglu. This is when Koroglu notices the bracelet on his sons arm. Koroglu recognizes his son and they embrace each other. This is how the story ends. The whole Chenlibel where Koroglu resides celebrates arrival of the son, Kurd-oglu.
